My first raid in APW with Team Heroes Alliance

Monday feb 18th I joined the Team Heroes Alliance in a raid in the Ancient Port Warehouse.

I was a little nervous as this was my first raid in VG and was (and still am I think) unexperienced in this type of game. In the past I have played a lot of LinageII and also joined raids there but In VG all is quite different.
They form 4 groups of max 6 people (or should i say "beings") each and they where all lv50. There is a raid leader, a MT and an OT.
The groups 1, 2 & 3 where the attacking groups. Group 4 waited at a safe distance. They where just there without any agro on them in case things all went wrong and the attacking groups where whiped. They then revive all dead members.

Caerenya (Monk) did pull the monsters and after that Tzuma (MT) pulled all agro to him. When he thought he had enough agro he did tell us in the raid chat which mob should be attacked by everyone.
Ghostchild (raid leader) did take the loots and by auction he divided the nice stuff those high lv raid monsters dropped.

Everything went quite well till we tried to kill the "end" boss General Vicus.

As a matter of fact we tried three times but didn't succeed because he has 6 helpers (comming in 3 waves of 2) and a very powerfull (timed) Blade Barrier enchantment which reflects a big deal of damage you do to him back to you, included AoE and DoT. That buff can't be removed from him, you just have to wait till it wears over. He also uses on regular basis a mana drain spell on the whole group. Dread Knights have to remove it as quickly as they can.

All in all very exiting. I spend 3 hours and 45 minutes before I left the raid group because I had to go to bed like some others. The rest did try General Vicus again but I don't know the result of that.

A few of us visited Nusibe Necropolis to uncover hidden treasures, untold secrets, and Mummy bits !!!

Was a nice hunt, as we stormed those ghastly undead, working our way down and down to its depths !

Well we decided to go on a little holiday to the charmingly named Island of Madness last night , and see what we could see !

Halloween in the Deebs !

Spooky surprises in the Deebs last night !
The undead arose on all hallos eve to eat our brains and suck the marrow from our bones !!

But fortunatly Thestrian Knights protected thier home land with great Vigor and bravery !
